A leading defense contractor in Plymouth seeks a Weld Training Officer to deliver training and qualifications to welders. As a Weld Training Officer, you'll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll deliver training and qualifications to apprentices, experienced welders, and future talent, ensuring compliance with ISO, ASME, and DefStan standards. Day-to-day, you’ll be central to developing the next generation of highly skilled welders who support critical defence projects across surface fleet, submarine platforms, and site facilities.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
