Job summary

Holcim in Coalville is seeking a Weighbridge Operative to manage weighbridge activities and customer interactions at Bardon Hill Quarry. The role involves accurate recording of vehicle movements and ensuring policy compliance, with 4 on 4 off shifts from 5am to 5pm.

The ideal candidate will have prior customer service experience, strong communication, and solid IT literacy to handle MS Office and inhouse systems. Immediate start available on a temp ongoing basis.

• Prior experience in a customer service role.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Good IT literacy with MS Office and inhouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge and record vehicle movements accurately.
• Provide high-quality customer service to drivers, contractors and teams.
• Process delivery/collection docs per company policies.
• Monitor material movements for stock accuracy.
• Carry out checks to ensure safety, health and environment compliance.
• Assist site security by managing vehicle access and safety rules.
• Keep site management updated on weighbridge operations.
