Overview

Here at the Mick George Group we are recruiting a Weighbridge Operator to join the team.

Location: Great Billing

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 6am – 6pm

Pay: To be discussed

About the Role

To assist with the running of the weighbridge office and related functions and any other duties required in the day to day running of the Waste Transfer Station (WTS) as deemed necessary by a site supervisor/manager.

Main Responsibilities
  • Recording and calculating inputs and outputs for the site
  • Producing weighbridge tickets
  • Completing waste transfer notes
  • General site administration
  • Deliver site inductions to visitors attending site
  • Ensure all visitors have the correct PPE before entering site
  • To carry out any ad-hoc duties relating to the WTS as requested by a supervisor/manager
Skills & Competencies

Essential

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good PC skills
  • The ability to multi task as multiple systems are used at any one time
  • Ability to deal with drivers coming onto site in a professional manner
  • A pro-active team member
  • Full UK drivers licence
Desirable
  • Previous experience in a similar role
