Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately check weight tolerances for lorries carrying scrap metal
  • Record data into the internal recycling system
  • Carry out Banksman duties to ensure the safe movement of vehicles
  • Produce detailed yard reports
  • Conduct sample testing and maintain quality standards
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in recorded weights
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Strong computer literacy (file handling, data entry, and email use)
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve problems quickly
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
