Cathedral Appointments Ltd is recruiting a Part-Time Warehouse Assistant to join a small warehouse team in the Newton Abbot area. The role covers processing, picking and dispatch of customer orders, plus handling of returns, with weekend and weekday cover.

This 21-hour role runs across Friday, Saturday and Monday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, with a one-hour lunch break. Daytime hours and a supportive team help ensure accuracy and efficiency in every task.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, stores or stock control role.
• Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Experience of Sage or Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is preferred.
• High accuracy and attention to detail with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Able to perform light manual handling up to 20 kg.

Responsabilités

• Process customer sales orders on the system from receipt through to dispatch.
• Pick, pack and dispatch products accurately and on time.
• Prepare shipments for Royal Mail and courier collection; keep packing costs efficient.
• Maintain accurate stock records; support stock takes and report discrepancies.
• Book in returned products and prepare them for reuse per refurbishment and cleaning processes.
• Follow warehouse procedures and quality standards; support colleagues as needed.
