Now for emergency and critical care at Vets Now Hull

At Vets Now Hull, our experienced team provides emergency and critical care for dogs, cats and small animals when daytime practices are closed. We’re looking for Weekend Veterinary Surgeons to join our friendly, well-established team, helping us deliver exceptional care when pets need it most.

Now for flexibility that works for you

We understand that everyone has different priorities, so we’re happy to consider any weekend rota pattern, including days only, nights only or a combination of both. Available shifts include:

• Weekend nights: Saturday and Sunday, 18:00–09:00
• Saturday days: 12:00–18:30
• Sunday days: 08:30–18:30

Whether you’re looking to focus on weekend work, complement another role or find a pattern that fits around your life, we’d love to discuss the possibilities with you.

Now for an experienced, supportive team

You’ll be joining a friendly and well-established team, supported by a long-standing group of Registered Veterinary Nurses, some of whom have been with Vets Now for 20 years.

Our Senior Vet, Susana, has led the Hull clinic for 10 years and brings valuable experience in mentorship and coaching. During overnight shifts, you’ll work alongside two RVNs and an Animal Care Assistant, with a receptionist on site until 23:00.

Now for development and ongoing support

Emergency and critical care offers the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, broaden your experience and make a real difference to pets and their owners. You’ll benefit from working alongside an experienced nursing team and a Senior Vet with a passion for supporting colleagues through mentorship and coaching.

Now for enhanced rewards and benefits

Our benefits package includes:

• Enhanced company sick, maternity, paternity and adoption pay schemes
• Private medical insurance
• Seven weeks’ annual leave pro rata
• Up to 50% discounted staff pet care
• Professional membership fees
• Access to our AdvantEdge programme
