Job summary

B&Q Poole is hiring a Store Delivery Driver on a permanent part-time basis (15 hours per week). The role includes Saturday and Sunday shifts, delivering to customers in our 3.5 ton vans and helping on the shop floor with customer orders. Heavy lifting is required, and a UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• A great communicator who can think clearly and plan ahead.
• Organised and analytical thinker, able to simplify complex tasks.
• Manual UK driving licence (Category B) held for at least a year with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders in a 3.5 ton van to customers’ homes, including some heavy lifting.
• Assist on shopfloor by fulfilling customer orders and supporting colleagues.
• Represent the B&Q brand and deliver excellent customer service, aiming for on-time, safe deliveries.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure efficiency and protect customers and colleagues.
• Work a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
