Job Description:

Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Manchester store, working weekends.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.41 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

This is a part-time, permanent position working 4 hours per week. Ideal candidates will have energy, drive, and passion for working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.

You should have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, stamina to work on a busy shop floor, and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.

Key activities:

1. Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on products.
2. Serving customers at the till and processing sales transactions.
3. Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale.
4. Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
5. Replenishing stock continuously to keep shelves full.
6. Processing stock deliveries promptly.
7. Maintaining a clean and tidy shop floor to a high standard.
8. Performing additional ad hoc duties as required.
