Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking a Weekend Receptionist for our Bath care home. This part-time role covers shifts from 9:00 to 15:00 or 10:00 to 16:00, six hours per day, weekend only.

You will warmly welcome residents and visitors, handle calls, greet guests and support light admin tasks to keep the reception running smoothly. As the first point of contact, you will contribute to a friendly atmosphere and help residents feel at home while performing duties with professionalism,

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required.
• Good telephone manner and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and route messages.
• Greet visitors and assist with directions around the home.
• Manage the reception area and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Show prospective residents and their families around the home.
• Carry out simple administrative tasks (typing, photocopying, filing).
