Job summary

The Students' Union at UWE is looking for a dedicated Personal Assistant to support a 65-year-old lady with MS, focused on enabling her independence in daily activities. This role includes assisting with social, lifestyle, and administrative duties, along with personal care tasks.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, a reliable and trustworthy attitude, and a clean driving license. The role offers a flexible schedule, primarily Saturdays and Sundays, with an hourly rate of £16.

Qualifications

• No formal care experience needed, but a positive attitude is essential.
• Experience in a PA or support worker role is advantageous.
• Previous training in manual handling and first aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and transport the client to appointments and shopping.
• Help with light household duties and general organization.
• Assist with managing paperwork and scheduling.
• Support with personal care tasks.
