CareTech is looking for a caring and dedicated Part-Time Weekend Support Worker to join our team in Bedford. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and complex behaviours to live independently and achieve their goals.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide both practical and emotional care to adults in supported living services. You\'ll help people lead as independent and fulfilling a life as possible, supporting with:

• Daily living skills (shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry)
• Health appointments and personal care
• Social events, hobbies, and community activities

This role includes early and late shifts, or a long day, covering weekends. Candidates must hold a UK driver\'s licence and be able to administer medication.

Personal Characteristics

• Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards one
• Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health needs
