St Anthony's is a warm and welcoming care home dedicated to providing high-quality care for our residents. We are looking for a Weekend Kitchen Cook to join our team and prepare nutritious and delicious meals in line with residents’ dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals independently in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Follow residents’ nutritional requirements, including dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with home policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, following HACCP guidelines.
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized, adhering to infection control regulations.
  • Manage stock levels and assist with ordering food supplies when needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a cook/chef, ideally in a care home or similar setting.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy kitchen.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Understanding of residents’ nutritional needs, including modified diets.
  • A positive and professional attitude, with a passion for cooking.
