Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a Cleaner based at Princess Of Wales Hospital in Ely. The role runs Saturday–Sunday from 04:00 to 08:00, delivering high standards of cleaning, hygiene and customer service across sites.

The ideal candidate will have right to work in the UK, be willing to undergo a DBS check, and demonstrate reliability, attention to detail and flexibility in shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK and DBS check as part of the role.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and materials.
• Aware of health & safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with shifts.
• Attention to detail and pride in high standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and waste disposal.
• Clean welfare areas, offices, corridors and washrooms to required standards.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet paper and soap.
• Follow health & safety, COSHH and cleaning procedures.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Work efficiently to complete tasks within timescales.
• Maintain a courteous approach with customers and colleagues.
• Support site-specific cleaning requirements as directed.
