Job summary

Victorian Plumbing is seeking a weekend FLT Driver to support our tiles warehouse in Skelmersdale. You will load/unload deliveries, move stock, and assist with inventory and order preparation. A valid FLT licence and reliability are essential for success in this fast-paced role.

Shifts are Saturdays to Tuesdays, 07:30-18:30, with a £13.97 hourly rate. This position requires physical fitness due to manual handling and work on-site at our warehouse.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) Licence is essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in stock management.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Good physical condition as the role involves manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Efficient Forklift Operation: Safely operate the forklift to handle goods in the warehouse.
• Load and Unload Deliveries: Assist with receiving deliveries, and ensure that goods are stored in the correct locations.
• Stock Management: Organise and maintain stock in the warehouse to facilitate easy access and efficient workflow.
• Support Logistics Activities: Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless operations, including inventory management and order preparation.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
