Job summary

CVS24 Dovecote Veterinary Hospital in Castle Donington seeks a Veterinary Surgeon to join weekends ECC with flexible patterns. You’ll work within a busy multidisciplinary referral hospital, delivering emergency and urgent care and benefiting from advanced diagnostics and a skilled nursing team.

This role offers a pro rata arrangement up to £65,000 FTE with weekend commitments, plus CPD support, RCVS fees paid, enhanced family benefits, and access to CVS shared schemes and clinical communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in ECC is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekend emergency and urgent care services.
• Manage a busy emergency caseload with support from the hospital team.
