The role

We're looking for a Weekend Customer Host to join our team in Worcester, working onboard our trains every Saturday and Sunday. It's a perfect opportunity if you've got weekday commitments but still want a rewarding role. You'll be the friendly face of GWR serving refreshments, providing a warm welcome, and making every journey memorable.

What you'll be doing
  • Delivering excellent customer service, promoting and selling GWR products onboard our services.
  • Providing a complimentary trolley service for First Class customers.
  • Acting as an ambassador for GWR and living our values.
  • Ensuring every journey is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable.
  • Keeping areas clean, tidy, and welcoming.
What we're looking for
  • Strong customer service and sales experience.
  • Great communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Food handling or stock rotation experience (desirable).

Please note: Training will be two weeks full-time (Monday–Friday), and you must live within one hour of Worcester station.
