Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Weekend Cleansing Operative in Northampton, NN4 9RR, on a FTC basis for 6 months. The role involves outdoor cleansing tasks including bin emptying, litter collection and moving waste to collection points.

Working Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays from 07:30 to 15:30 with an hourly rate of £12.71. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, physically fit and able to interact politely with the public while maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively throughout the day.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Physically fit and able to carry out outdoor manual duties in all weather conditions.
• Ability to interact politely with members of the public and represent the town positively.
• Basic problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

About the role

Do you take pride in your community and enjoy working outdoors? We're looking for a cleansing operative to help keep Northampton clean and tidy. As a visible and valued member of the team, you'll be responsible for emptying bins, collecting litter, moving waste to designated collection points, and ensuring public areas remain welcoming for everyone.
