Job summary

Nexgen Group is looking for a Weekend Cleaning Operative to service a site in Huntingdon, PE26. The role covers Saturdays and Sundays, with 2 hours per day. The position pays £13.67 per hour and requires prior cleaning experience and IT literacy, plus good English communication.

The successful candidate will perform cleaning tasks across facilities, ensure hygiene standards, and report maintenance issues as needed. This is a part-time weekend role based at a client site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning environment is essential
• IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)

Responsibilities

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
• Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
• Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
• Hoovering of carpeted areas
• Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
• Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
• Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels (if contractual)
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
