Job summary

The Pet Vet Lincoln is seeking a Weekend Animal Care Assistant to join our nursing team. Work in our purpose-built, modern veterinary practice with a caring, dedicated team focused on exceptional animal care and customer service.

You’ll assist Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses and help with the day-to-day running of the surgery, including a range of supportive duties. We offer a supportive environment in a growing practice, with opportunities to learn and develop alongside a passionate team

Qualifications

• Experience caring for animals in a clinical or educational setting is advantageous.
• Ability to work well in a team and stay calm under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and support veterinary clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Nurses with animal care and handling.
• Support day-to-day running of the surgery, including cleanliness and stock management.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to clients and their pets.
