Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team at Armley Leisure Centre in Leeds. This permanent part-time role involves 8 hours per week with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 05:00 to 09:00.

Full training will be provided to help you keep the centre clean, safe and welcoming for customers and staff. You will work as part of a friendly team, perform daily cleaning tasks, restock supplies, follow safety procedures and report issues.

Qualifications

Reliable and punctual.
Good attention to detail.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Clean changing rooms, showers, toilets and public areas to a high standard.
Carry out daily cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, dusting and waste removal.
Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet rolls.
Use cleaning equipment safely and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Follow cleaning schedules, site procedures and health & safety requirements.
Work as part of the cleaning team to deliver excellent standards and customer service.
