Job summary

Pure Staff are recruiting delivery drivers for a major automotive manufacturer in Manchester. This is a Monday-to-Friday role with regular hours, no weekends, and ongoing work. You will deliver genuine manufacturer car parts to dealerships and trade customers within a ~75-mile radius, often starting around 03:00am.

The position offers a pay rate of £12.76 per hour plus holiday accrual and weekly pay. Immediate starts and a long-standing track record with this client make this a reliable weekday

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Confidence driving larger commercial vans.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance and timekeeping.
• Confidence completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role.
• Six months’ commercial van driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts to regular trade customers.
• Approximately 6 main deliveries per day, with additional local body-shop deliveries where required.
• Loading and unloading vehicle parts.
• Using a tail lift and pump truck where required.
• Checking vehicle, paperwork and deliveries before leaving site.
• Providing a professional service to customers.
• Keeping in contact with the transport team during your shift.
