Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting for an Assembly / Production Operative to join an established manufacturing business in Willand, Somerset. The role offers regular weekday hours, ongoing work and full training with an immediate start.

As an Assembly/Production Operative you will support the manufacture of aluminium products in a busy production environment, ensuring materials are prepared correctly and work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• No previous manufacturing experience required; full training provided.
• Experience in production/assembly roles advantageous but not required.
• Physically active role with regular manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly and manufacture of aluminium products and components.
• Prepare materials, parts and equipment for production.
• Safely lift, move and handle materials around the site.
• Support the wider production team with day-to-day activities.
• Carry out general materials handling and housekeeping.
• Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Work as part of a team to complete work efficiently and to a high standard.
• Support colleagues across production and operational areas when required.
