I am a 74-year-old woman who lives at home, in Blyth with my husband. I am very family orientated and enjoy spending time with my extended family.

I am independent and manage at home with the support of my husband however, due to my COPD and use of oxygen at home I require somebody to visit me each morning and again at lunch time to ensure I am managing at home and to support me to prepare meals and drinks.

I would prefer:

  • A female care assistant
  • With a chatty, happy and family orientated persona
  • Somebody who is prompt and reliable
  • Somebody local who can keep me up to date with the gossip

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday Only
  • 8am for 30 minutes
  • 12:30pm for 30 minutes
  • Hours are preferred and limited flexibility is available. Please only apply if you can commit to the above hours

Annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata paid holiday per year

The successful applicant will require an enhanced disclosure and barring certificate, and the cost will be met by the employer.

Training will be on-the-job and via an online learning together platform as appropriate. The successful applicant will also have access to the local authority training platform to access ongoing professional development.
