Job summary

Joseph Gallagher Limited in Orsett is seeking a Web Development Apprentice to start a career in software development at our Head Office. You’ll work closely with a senior developer on real business systems and gain hands-on experience.

This Level 3 apprenticeship covers C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SQL, APIs and Git workflows. You’ll contribute to internal projects, write clean code, learn through structured learning, and grow within a supportive IT team.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Web Development Apprentice to join our team at our Head Office in Orsett. This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career in software development, working closely with an experienced senior developer on real-world business systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting in the development of internal web applications and automation tools
• Supporting the maintenance and enhancement of existing systems
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Learning to design, build, and consume APIs and web services
• Working with version control and development pipelines
• Collaborating with wider IT and business teams to deliver practical solutions

What You’ll Learn And Work With

What We’re Looking For
