Web Developer

Location: 310 Brunel Road, Mississauga, ON L4Z 2C2 (On site)

Salary: $76,000 per year (40 hours per week, full time)

Employment type: Permanent, Full time

Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Develop website architecture.
• Write, modify and test website‑related code.
• Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required.
• Prepare mock‑ups and storyboards.
• Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the website.
• Create and optimize content for the website using graphics, database, animation and other software.
• Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity.
• Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1 to < 2 years of web development experience.
• Proficiency in ASP, PHP, XML and API.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, desktop applications and website creation/management software.
• Knowledge of networking hardware, Internet and MS Office.
