Job summary

Leo Technology Limited is recruiting a .NET Web Developer to join a small, enthusiastic technology team. You will develop customer-facing websites, APIs and internal tools, primarily using C#, .NET, EF Core and SQL Server. The role involves in-office and remote work with flexible hours.

You should be comfortable with RESTful services, data integration formats (JSON/XML/CSV) and collaborating to deliver business-critical applications. A proactive learner mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Practical programming experience with C# or another object-oriented language.
• Understanding of how modern websites and web applications are built.
• Confidence working with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
• Methodical approach to diagnosing problems and identifying their underlying causes.
• Eagerness to develop knowledge and take on unfamiliar technologies.
• Ability to manage own workload while contributing within a small development team.
• Strong communication skills to discuss technical matters across the business.

Responsibilities

• Produce reliable software solutions using C#, .NET and associated development frameworks.
• Enhance existing applications and introduce new functionality based on business requirements.

• Design and maintain database-driven functionality using SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.

• Collaborate with colleagues to translate operational requirements into effective technical solutions.

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Working Setup: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days from home) Flexi working around core hours (10am - 3:30pm)

About the opportunity:

We're recruiting for an established UK-based eCommerce business operating with customers and suppliers throughout the UK and Europe. They have built a significant technology infrastructure to support its day-to-day operations and require a .Net Web Developer to join their existing Development team to help with company growth.

From customer-facing websites and online services to pricing, product information, stock management and order processing, technology plays a key role throughout the organisation.

We're looking for a .NET Web Developer to join a small, enthusiastic technology team and contribute to the continued development of a wide range of business-critical applications and services.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Produce reliable software solutions using C#, .NET and associated development frameworks.
• Enhance existing applications and introduce new functionality based on business requirements.
• Develop, monitor and support APIs connecting internal applications with customers and external partners.
• Design and maintain database-driven functionality using SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.

• C# alongside modern versions of .NET, including .NET 9 and .NET 10

• Scheduled and background processing services
• Caching and CDN-driven applications
• IIS and Windows Server environments

Who will be a good fit for the .Net Web Developer role:

What's on offer:

• Startin salary for the .Net Web Developer is £40,000-£45,000
• Hybrid working arrangements (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
• Flexible start and finish times (plan your day to start as early or late as you like around the company core hours of 10am - 3:30pm)
• 25 days of annual leave plus UK bank holidays

• Company bonus scheme / annual bonus (all based on company performance and not guaranteed but based on current and previous performance estimated £200-250 per month monthly bonus & estimated £800 - £1,800 annual bonus)
