Job summary

Prostate Cancer UK is seeking a Website Content Officer to lead content on the charity’s website. You will publish updates via the content management system, ensure accessibility and quality, and keep information accurate and easy to navigate.

You’ll work with diverse teams to shape web messages and manage content schedules. You’ll monitor performance with analytics, optimise pages, and collaborate with email and social media teams to keep channels aligned.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in writing, editing, and proofreading web content for a specific audience.
• Experience with Umbraco CMS to build and update web pages.
• Ability to author and edit basic HTML and prepare images for the web.
• Strong understanding of interpreting website analytics (Google Analytics) and SEO techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage content on the website to ensure clarity, accessibility and up-to-date information.
• Publish updates via the CMS and maintain site quality and accessibility standards.
• Oversee homepage and key sections; ensure information is accurate and navigable.
• Shape messages for the web in collaboration with other teams and provide guidance.
• Manage content schedules and review pages for improvements.
• Create or edit content to keep the site fresh and effective.
• Use analytics to monitor performance and suggest UX improvements.
