Responsibilities

• Edit, curate and maintain content across the Council's website.
• Support the Communications team with content for the intranet and social media.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and Local Authority Publication Codes.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong customer focus and attention to detail

Knowledge of website management, content design and UX

Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, CMS platforms and web tools

Strong understanding of accessibility, usability and analytics

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively

Confident translating technical issues for non-technical users

Education

Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including Maths and English
