The post will be based within the Children's Social Care Research and Development Centre (CASCADE) and will also support the dissemination of research for the Centre for Adult Social Care (CARE) and SCALE (The Centre for Social Care and Artificial Intelligence).

In this role you will provide a comprehensive professional support to ExChange Wales, including practical guidance and expertise in digital content creation, website management, online communications and research dissemination and support the planning and delivery of webinars and other online (and occasional in person) events.

Welsh language skills are desirable but in the absence of those, the post-holder will need to be comfortable working with our in-house translation team and working with bilingual content. You will be part of the professional services team supporting CASCADE, CARE & SCALE to promote its world-leading research though digital channels and online platforms.

This post is part-time (17.5 hours per week), fixed term from 1st September 2026 until 31st March 2028.

Salary: £28,031 - £31,236 per annum, pro rata for part time hours (Grade 4), with annual increments up to final salary at top of grade). New appointments are usually made at the starting point of the salary scale.

From the 1st August 2026 the School of Social Sciences and the School of Geography and Planning will come together to create the new School of Social and Spatial Sciences, building on and strengthening existing interdisciplinary research and education.
