Job summary

Canaccord Wealth is seeking a proactive Paraplanning Support professional to assist Planners with client onboarding, CDD, and diary management. You will perform paraplanning duties, prepare suitability reports, and maintain client records using XPlan and CRM systems, ensuring compliant, high-quality service.

You will develop technical knowledge, collaborate with Investment Managers, and progress toward FCA Certification, contributing to firm growth and excellent client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Paraplanning experience and client support knowledge.
• Awareness of FCA Fitness and Propriety requirements.
• Ability to prepare suitability reports and articulate financial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate central services to support planners and deliver good client outcomes.
• Prepare and submit CDD and onboarding paperwork following AML procedures.
• Arrange client meetings, valuations, meeting packs and manage planners' diaries.
• Draft and issue suitability reports with accuracy.
• Undertake research and cash-flow modelling to support recommendations.
• Develop CPD and stay updated on industry best practices.
