Job summary

Clark James Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Financial Adviser for a London-based wealth management business. You will support a Senior Wealth Manager, attend client meetings, and progress toward full qualification with comprehensive training and development.

This role offers a pathway to becoming a fully qualified Wealth Manager with robust training, a competitive salary of £29,000–£33,000, and a hybrid work pattern including some home working after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Wealth Management or regulated Financial Services.
• High attention to detail and excellent organisation.
• Professional image and entrepreneurial spirit with proactive attitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly IT literate with MS Office.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Attend Client Meetings with Wealth Managers.
• Manage Action Points from Client Meetings.
• Writing Post Approval Suitability letters and Business Submission.
• Carry Forward, Annual Allowance, Lifetime Allowance Calculations.
• Client Financial Review input/updating.
• Manage Pipeline for Senior Wealth Manager.
• Analytics using FE Analytics and preparation of Voyant reports.
• Drawdown Review Letters and Fund Switch Letters.
• Respond to Client Inquiries (Technical and administrative).
• Identify Opportunities and Referrals from Existing Clients.
• Managing workflow through Asana software and Business Trackers.
• Facilitation of defined benefit transfers.
• Preparation of Illustrations and Electronic Business Submissions using Blue‑door software.
• Critical Yield Calculations.
• Manage Outsourced Letter of Authority Process.
