Job description

We're expanding our Water Treatment Department and are looking for an experienced and proactive Water Treatment Technician to deliver industry-leading solutions and service across a range of client sites.

Installation of Water Treatment Equipment
  • Full installation and commissioning of water treatment systems at client sites.
  • Connecting to plumbing and electrical infrastructure.
  • Testing systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
  • Training client staff on system use and maintenance.
  • Completing all installation documentation and reports.
  • Coordinating with clients and internal teams for smooth delivery.
Routine Service & Maintenance
  • Performing scheduled and preventative maintenance on treatment systems.
  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment faults or inefficiencies.
  • Maintaining detailed records of service visits, adjustments, and part replacements.
  • Supporting clients with first‑time fixes and equipment care.
Site Surveys & Technical Analysis
  • Conducting technical site visits and assessments.
  • Taking water samples and performing on-site analysis.
  • Identifying system issues and proposing tailored treatment solutions.
  • Preparing technical reports and supporting commercial proposals.
  • Staying current with new treatment technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in water treatment, including work with steam boilers, cooling towers, process water, pre‑treatment systems, and softeners.
  • Recognised plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent skills/experience).
  • Legionella control certification (e.g., City & Guilds, IOSH, Water Management Society).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proactive and flexible approach with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Committed to safety, quality, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Salary and Location

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum. Location: UK/Various. Travel required.
