Job description

Due to rapid growth our client is now urgently seeking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment Service Engineer/Chemist to join their well‑established water treatment company for various contracts in an around the Norfolk area. Undertaking duties such as flushing of calorifiers and proving a full range of service chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors. Applications from Kings Lynn, Ipswich, Peterborough and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:
  • Strong educational, chemical and water treatment background required.
  • Have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have prior experience working in this role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Chemical Analysis on Cooling towers, Steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
  • Maintenance on Domestic and Industrial water systems.
  • Routine monitoring tasks at multiple sector properties as per site management control logs.
  • Dosing of systems, closed system flushing, water softener servicing and disinfection of systems.
  • Providing the full range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.
  • Flushing of Calorifiers.
  • Updating of Site Log Books.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
