Our client is an established and well-regarded water treatment company currently looking for an experienced Water Treatment Service Chemist based in the Norwich area. Applications from Fakenham, Great Yarmouth, Attleborough, Dereham and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience working in a service chemist role.
• Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.
• Competent with Microsoft Office package.

Role

• Chemical analysis on cooling towers, steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
• Routine monitoring tasks at multiple sector properties.
• Dosing of systems, closed system flushing, water softener servicing and disinfection of systems.
• Maintenance of domestic and industrial water systems.
• Providing a range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems.
• Flushing of calorifiers.
• Updating of site log books.
• Chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, chlorination on cooling towers, steam boilers etc.
• Maintain a professional relationship with clients.
