Job description

Our established client is well‑known within the water treatment industry for delivering outstanding water treatment and legionella services to clients throughout the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced and skilled Water Treatment Service Chemist based in and around the Bournemouth area to join their team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience working as a water treatment service chemist.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good working knowledge of the water treatment/hygiene industry.
• Competency with the Microsoft Office package.

Duties of the Role

• Carrying chemical analysis on cooling towers, steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
• Carrying out maintenance on commercial, domestic and industrial water systems.
• Carrying out dosing of systems, closed system flushing, water softener servicing and disinfection of systems.
• Performing chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, cooling towers and chlorination – steam boilers.
• Providing the full range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.
• Carrying out flushing of calorifiers.
• Ensuring Site Log Books are accurate and up to date.
• Maintaining a professional relationship with clients.
