Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Water Treatment Service Chemist based in the Birmingham area to join an established and successful water treatment company. The successful candidate will have experience in the sampling and analysis of cooling tower, steam boiler and closed systems. Applications from Coventry, Warwick, Worcestershire and areas with good access to the M5 will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in this or a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong working knowledge of the water treatment/hygiene industry (essential).

Responsibilities

• Chemical analysis on cooling towers, steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
• Maintenance of domestic and industrial water systems.
• Routine monitoring tasks at multiple sector properties as per site management control logs.
• Dosing of systems, closed‑system flushing, water softener servicing and disinfection of systems.
• Providing the full range of Service Chemist duties across a variety of sectors.
• Flushing of calorifiers.
• Updating site log books.
• Chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring, cooling towers and chlorination – steam boilers.
• Maintaining a professional relationship with new and existing clients.
