Our client is a well‑established water treatment company seeking a competent and hardworking Water Treatment Service Chemist/Account Manager based in and around the Sheffield area. The role involves both industrial water treatment duties and account management. The successful candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience working within the water treatment sector, including technical analysis of cooling towers, steam boilers and closed‑system water, and will manage new and existing accounts. Applications from Leeds, Doncaster, Bradford, Chesterfield and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience

• Will ideally hold a chemistry based degree.
• Experience of working in a service chemist role, undertaking analysis of system boilers, closed systems and cooling tower water.
• Previous experience managing a portfolio of steam boiler, cooling tower and closed system accounts.
• Hands‑on experience delivering water hygiene duties in accordance with ACOP L8.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office package.
