We are working closely with a longstanding and reputable Water Treatment company who have a leading presence in the Yorkshire region. They are now seeking to take on a hardworking and knowledgeable Water Treatment Service Chemist to join their team. You will be working on a portfolio of Manufacturing, Industrial and Commercial sites carrying out analysis of Steam Boilers, Cooling Towers, and Closed Loop Systems.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience working as a Service Chemist for an established Water Treatment company
• In-depth technical and chemical knowledge
• Ability to communicate efficiently with clients and colleagues
• Excellent knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines
• Well‑versed in knowledge of Water Treatment systems
• Ability to organise work schedule in line with company and client requirements

The Role

• Work on leisure, manufacturing, industrial and commercial sites
• Sampling and analysis of steam boilers and cooling towers with onsite test kits
• Dosing systems with correct chemicals upon completion of sampling and analysis
• Providing clients with detailed reports
• Providing clients with competitive and detailed quotes
• Work in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines
• Upselling company services and products
• Act as first point of contact for clients, providing technical support and advice
