Job description

Our client is an established and professional water company who offer a wide range of water treatment and legionella services across the UK. They are currently recruiting for a hard-working and commercially focused Water Treatment Sales Manager based in and around the London area. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of promoting company growth through the selling of specialised water services and equipment to the water treatment industry. Candidate will hold experience of managing and developing a diverse portfolio of both new and existing clients. Applications will be considered from areas with good access to the London / M25 region, such as; Hertford, Basildon, Dartford, Slough and surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience
  • Working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
  • Proven track record in improving sales and targets.
  • Will ideally hold a strong knowledge of water treatment equipment.
  • Extensive sales and managerial experience within the water industry.
  • Excellent level of computer literacy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing sales plans and meeting sales targets.
  • Leading, motivating, and controlling a team to improve performances.
  • Ensuring all tasks are meeting the business objectives.
  • Working in cooperation with other departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Attending relevant training courses.
  • Working under pressure.
  • Identifying business opportunities.
  • Working within guidelines and deadlines.
  • Building and managing key relationships to all levels and deliver excellent customer skills.
  • Maintaining all areas of health and safety in the workplace.
  • Attending to Key Performance Indicators.
  • Dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively.

Overall, the successful candidate will be commercially focused, astute, with strong effective communication skills and must be flexible with regards to travelling.
