Our client is a well-established and successful water treatment/water hygiene company, who due to recent contract wins are currently looking for an experienced and competent Water Treatment Engineer / Remedial Engineer to join their busy workforce based in and around the Leeds area. Candidates will hold extensive and varied experience of water treatment and remedial works. Holding the NVQ Level 2 / 3 in plumbing would be beneficial to the role. Applications from Harrogate, HULL, Sheffield, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Good chemical, technical and water hygiene/water treatment background.
  • Experience working as a water hygiene engineer.
  • Plumbing experience would be advantageous.
  • Will ideally hold the level 2 / 3 plumbing qualification.
  • Good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and legislations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office package.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Role
  • Covering various contracts including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
  • Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans, descales and remedial work.
  • Monitoring client’s air and water systems ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.
  • Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
  • Installation & maintenance of dosing systems.
  • Providing accurate reports and maintaining paperwork.
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
