Responsibilities

  • Carrying out pre‑commissioning cleaning on the systems according to BSRIA standards.
  • Balance flushing of heated/chilled systems.
  • Flushing, sampling, and dosing of closed systems.
  • Water/legionella sampling.
  • Dosing – CHW and LTHW systems and washing systems.
  • Chemical and tank cleans.
  • Chlorination and disinfection works in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines.

Overview

Our client, an established and expanding water treatment company, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment/Pre-Commissioning Engineer in the South Wales region. Applications will be considered from Cardiff, Newport and surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Varied experience in pre‑commissioning with a proven track record within the water treatment industry.
  • Strong chemical and water treatment background.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Carrying out pre‑commissioning cleaning on the systems according to BSRIA standards.
  • Balance flushing of heated/chilled systems.
  • Flushing, sampling, and dosing of closed systems.
  • Water/legionella sampling.

  • Schematic drawings and producing accurate reports.
