Job description

This well-established and highly successful water treatment company is currently seeking to recruit an experienced and competent Water Treatment Pre-Commissioning Engineer for a variety of contracts in and around the South East region (predominantly London & Hampshire). Applications from London, Essex, Hampshire, Cambridgeshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas will be considered. The Company, whilst looking for experienced engineers will also consider less experienced candidates wishing to take the next step in their career.

Qualifications & experience:

• Experience in Pre-Commissioning essential.
• Will come from a strong chemical and water treatment background.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake pre-commissioning cleaning on the systems according to BSRIA standards.
• Completing flushing works.
• Dosing – CHW and LTHW systems and washing systems.
• Chemical and tank cleans.
• Carrying out chlorination and disinfection works.
• Collating and producing accurate reports.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance to ACOP (8) guidelines.
