Job Description

We are looking for a smart, multi‑skilled Water Treatment Pre‑commissioning Engineer to join a well‑established and expanding water treatment company in the South East, with applications from Luton, Milton Keynes, Stevenage and the surrounding areas.

Ideally, the applicant will have significant and varied experience in Pre‑Commissioning and come from a strong chemical and water treatment background. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a proven track record within this role and the water treatment industry are essential.

Purpose of the Role

Cover various contracts designated by the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out pre‑commissioning cleaning on systems according to BSRIA standards.
• Ensure flow rates and complete flushing works.
• Handle dosing for CHW and LTHW systems and washing systems.
• Perform chemical and tank cleans.
• Carry out chlorination(s) and disinfection works in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Produce schematic drawings and accurate reports.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with ACOP (8) guidelines.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in water treatment pre‑commissioning.
• Strong chemical and water treatment background.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Track record of working within this role and the water treatment industry.
