Profile

An established Legionella / Water Hygiene business that works hard to deliver the full range of Water Hygiene duties to Local Authority, Leisure, and Private sector clients. We are looking for a qualified Water Treatment Plumber to cover contracts across the North West region. The successful candidate will have a strong Water Hygiene background and extensive experience carrying out remedial plumbing duties such as onsite fault finding and diagnosing issues, dead leg removal, CWST refurbishments and installs, TMV servicing and installations, and rerouting of copper and PVC pipework.

Stockport, Oldham, Wigan, Bolton, St Helens, Rochdale, Bury, Preston, Blackburn, Lancashire, Cheshire, Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield, Buxton, Huddersfield, Keighley, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Halifax.

Experience & Qualifications

• Holding the City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent L2/L3 in plumbing.
• Experience within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry is essential.
• Competent in using PDA / Tablet systems.
• Working in line with relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Able to communicate efficiently.

Role

• Carry out fault-finding on a mixed range of sites, diagnosing problems and dealing with any queries efficiently.
• Installation and rerouting of copper and PVC pipework.
• Carry out dead leg removals.
• Check plumbing works and sign off upon completion.
• Undertake CWST refurbishments and installs.
• TMV servicing and installations.
• (If held) Use G3 certificate to service and install cylinders.
• Ensure all work aligns with ACoP L8 / Health and Safety guidelines.
• Use PDA / Tablet systems to provide detailed reports for clients.
• Continue to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
