Our client is an established water treatment and hygiene company based in the South East. They provide professional services to long‑standing clients nationwide and are seeking a Water Treatment Operations Manager for the Surrey area.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong operational, commercial, management, accounts, and sales background.
  • Experience in a managerial/director role within the water treatment / water hygiene industry.
  • Good working knowledge of steam boilers, cooling towers and closed systems.
  • Ability to improve profits and margins.
  • Excellent knowledge of the water treatment / legionella industry and legislation.
  • Must possess City & Guilds or equivalent plumbing qualifications.
  • Good people, communication, management, and customer service skills.
  • Competent in using the Microsoft Office package.
Key Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day operational management of all site remedial works, mainly office based.
  • Managing the company’s water treatment / water hygiene services.
  • Promoting and growing the business.
  • Responsible for financial forecasting and profit & loss management.
  • Managing and planning staff workload.
  • Deliver presentations to new and potential clients.
  • Managing new and existing accounts.
  • Ensuring a continued high‑quality service to customers.
  • Generating new business leads and opportunities.
  • Meeting targets and goals.
  • Representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Preparing quotes and tenders.
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with clients from all levels.
  • Recruitment, training and appraisal of staff.

This role is based around the Surrey area and will be of interest to candidates from Guildford, Southampton, Portsmouth and surrounding areas.
