Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and booking PPM and reactive works.
  • Oversee the Legionella/Water Treatment Engineers and schedule work.
  • Conduct staff reviews and provide ongoing training.
  • Streamline processes to enhance service department efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to operational processes and guidelines.
  • Work with other departments to quickly resolve issues.
  • Provide resources for emergency works.
  • Produce reports including productivity metrics.

Position: Water Treatment Operations Manager
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary / Package: £30k – £50k DOE + Benefits + Company Car

Privately owned Legionella / Water Treatment company with plans to expand in the near future, are currently looking for an experience Water Treatment Operations / Service Delivery Manager to join their team. Candidates will hold extensive experience working with the industry, with a proven track record of managing a water treatment / legionella service department. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a growing company, with plans to build on their previous years success. You will be switched on and commercial focused; able to schedule large teams of engineers, plan PPM and reactive works on a national scale and effectively identify sales opportunities.

Experience / Qualifications
  • Experience working as either an operations or service delivery manager, within a water hygiene / treatment or legionella company.
  • Strong knowledge of legionella management and associated services.
  • Proven track record of managing large teams of engineers / risk assessors.
  • Commercial focused, ideally with some sales / tender experience.
Role
  • Responsible for all PPM and reactive works, ensuring they are planned and booked in.
  • Overseeing the companies Legionella/Water Treatment Engineers; effectively scheduling and delegating work.
  • Undertaking competency audits / staff reviews and, when necessary, carrying out ongoing training / mentoring.
  • Streamlining and implementing new processes to ensure the service department is running efficiently.
  • Ensure that all Operational Processes are adhered to and work is carried out to guidelines.
  • Working closely with other department leads / management to resolve any issues quickly.
  • Providing resource for emergency works
  • Producing reports as and when required (including productivity reports on legionella risk assessors/water treatment engineers to KPI’s
  • Actively identifying sales opportunities to promote company growth.
  • Partaking in the bid / tender process.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients
  • Monitoring jobs and forecast labour resources
  • Presenting at external client meetings
