Job description

Our client is a leading name within the water treatment/water hygiene industry, looking to recruit a reliable and experienced Water Treatment Engineer to cover a variety of contracts in and around the Wembley area. Applications from Watford, Harrow, Edgware, Hayes and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Good chemical and technical background, ideally with a City & Guilds qualification.
• Experience working as a water treatment engineer.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and the water treatment industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• IT literate.

Role

• Perform routine sampling, temperature checks and monitoring of air and water systems.
• Carry out refurbishments, cleaning and disinfections of cooling towers, water systems, tanks, etc.
• Ensure compliance with current Health and Safety legislation.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Assist with evaporative cooling system cleaning.
• Address remedial works relating to water treatment and hygiene.

The successful candidate will be flexible and possess a strong work ethic.
