Job Description

Our client, one of the leading names in the water treatment industry, is seeking an experienced and hard‑working Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Welling area. Candidates from Grays, Dartford, Bromley and the surrounding areas will be strongly considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous practical experience in a similar role within the water treatment industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competence with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong knowledge of water industry guidelines and legislation.
• Certification demonstrating competence with cooling towers (essential).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse closed water systems (LTHW and CHW) and report results, including temperature monitoring.
• Maintain and update site logbooks and service reports.
• Analyse cooling towers, steam boilers and closed heating/chilled systems.
• Monitor client air and water systems to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
• Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
• Conduct routine water sampling and analysis.
• Service TMVs and perform showerhead descaling.
• Liaise regularly with clients.
