You will be responsible for cleaning and chlorination of water systems, temperature monitoring, and conducting preventative maintenance. Qualifications

  • Experience working in the water treatment industry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with current water industry guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and chlorinate hot and cold water systems.
  • Monitor temperatures and conduct routine sampling.
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance.
  • Undertake necessary remedial works.
  • Manage water softeners and dosing units.
  • Service TMVs and descale showerheads.
  • Build relationships with clients.

Job description

Our client is a well‑established and highly successful water treatment company with a large presence nationwide. Due to taking on a large range of contracts, they are looking for a hard‑working and motivated Water Treatment Engineer in and around the Scotland area. Undertaking duties such as temperature monitoring, carrying out planned, preventive maintenance and undertaking remedial works amongst other duties. Applications from Hamilton, E Kibride, Paisley, Cumberland, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience of working in this role within the water treatment industry.
  • Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office package.
  • Must be fully conversant with current water industry guidelines.
Role
  • Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, etc.
  • Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling, analysing water systems and interpreting the results.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
  • Undertake remedial works as required.
  • Deal with softeners and dosing units.
  • Clean, repair and service TMV’s, showerhead descales, etc.
  • Build and maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
