  • Discipline: Water Treatment Engineers/Plumbers

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high caliber Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber to join an expanding water treatment company based in the Swindon area. Applications from Chippenham, Stroud, Cirencester, Gloucester and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications and Requirements

Ideally, the applicant must come from a good educational, technical and plumbing background.

Must have the relevant qualifications in plumbing – C&G Level 2 or 3.

Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry legislation – L8.

Must be punctual, reliable and organized.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must have varied experience working as a plumber and on commercial and industrial properties.

Must have excellent communication, client facing, organizational and client facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out plumbing work on commercial and industrial properties.

Replacing tanks and conversion of mains.

Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.

Carrying out temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analyzing water systems.

Building and maintaining a good working rapport with clients.

Collating and providing service reports and maintaining the standards according to the regulations – Health and Safety.
